The
eProcurement project implemented in the State of
Chhattisgarh
was conferred with the “Outstanding Project” award under the Best
eGoverned project category on 18th December 2008 by CSI–Nihilent
for 2007-08.
The
Computer Society of India (CSI), which is the largest association of
information technology professionals in India, and Nihilent, which is an
ISO 9001:2000 and SEISM CMMI® Level 5 certified global business
consulting and solutions integration company, had instituted the
"CSI-Nihilent e-Governance Awards" in year 2002 covering
Individual projects, Technical companies and State level efforts in
eGovernance area.
The eProcurement project was selected on the basis of an
assessment model made on key selected indicators which were considered
crucial for the success of project/ initiative and the selection process
comprised of the following stages:

: ON-LINE SUBMISSION OF NOMINATION FORM
STAGE II
: FIELD VISIT BY SELECTION COMMITTEE MEMBERS
STAGE III :
PRESENTATION BY SHORTLISTED NOMINATIONS

Final Selection for Awards - Based on combined score in Stage I+II+III
